Our Program

Our program has been proven year after year. We have calculated the right
amount of treatment for lawns in the region. We have a seven step
program, starting with a split application of pre-emergents &
post-emergents. Pre-spring and spring treatment will build the soil
barrier to prevent weed seeds from germinating during prime time.
Crabgrass which germinates in the early spring, will continue to
germinate through out the summer. The two applications used will extend
the effectiveness of control and successfully suppress crabgrass from
germinating later in the season.
The two applications used will extend the effectiveness of the control and
successfully suppress crabgrass from germinating later in the season. University
trail have consistently shown that a second or split application of
crabgrass control works superior. Three fertilizations will start in
spring with the right nutrients for a fast green-healthy and lush lawn
all spring and summer long. The fourth fertilization, your lawn will
receive high potassium to strengthen the root system and help the turf
during the winter months. The last treatment will be a pre-emergent
& post-emergent to assist weeds and winter grasses from germinating
until the next pre-spring treatment.

Pre-spring Pre-emergents to control crabgrass and grassy weeds.
Post-emergents to control broadleaf weeds and grassy weeds.
This would be a good time to have a soil test.

Early spring Pre-emergents to extend crabgrass and weed control through the summer.
Post-emergents to control broadleaf weeds and grassy weeds including dandelions, chickweeds, henbit and clover.

Spring A balanced time released fertilizer with the right nutrients will be used for spring green-up and to generate roots.

Early summer A balanced time released fertilizer with high nitrogen will be used for promoting a green and healthy lawn.
This is also a good time to begin grub worm control.

Summer A balanced time released fertilizer is applied to encourage lawn to stay green and thick during the summer.

Late Summer A
slow release granule fertilizer to maintain a green turf color through
the rest of the growing season and promote deep root development.
This would also be a good time for additional grub worm control.

Fall Pre-emergent
& post-emergent
Will be the last treatment of the year to assure weeds and winter grass weeds resist germination untill treatment in pre-spring.
